A couple of ranges of couplings to suit most types of motor to shaft combinations Here is a brief list of some of the more common sizes of electric motors we keep
380 = 2.2mm plain 385 = 2.2mm plain (though 3.2mm sometimes)
400 = 3.2mm Plain 500 = 3.2mm Plain 545 = 3.2 Plain 550 = 3.2mm Plain
600 = 3.2mm Plain 700 = 5mm plain 820 = 5mm Plain
900 = 6mm Plain MFA 800/850 = 1/4 Plain MFA Geared 919 type = 6mm Plain
Now Prop Shafts tend to come in two sizes 4ba (4mm) standard for most electric motors and 2ba (5mm) for heavier duty engines now these come with either Plain or threaded ends and depending on the manufacture.
Couplings
To make a complete Coupling you need to pick one motor end normally Plain and one shaft end
